We have behalf of a supplier of ours an Emmegi V Cut Machining Centre for centre.
The details of the machine and the refurbishment of it is detailed below:
CNC cutting centre with 3 controlled axes, designed for cutting profiles made of aluminium, PVC, light alloys in general.
V-Cut loads the extruded section and cuts it, then unloads the finished part all in fully automatic mode without need for operator attendance.
The software can handle predefined cutting lists, optimizing them to minimize wastage.
Cutting head allows cutting at +/- 45° and intermediat angles.
LOADING TABLE FOR PROFILES:
9 or 16 positions, depending on the width of the profile.
Max length 7.2 m, minimum length 3.0 m. Shorter profiles can be cut without problems by putting them at the gripper manually.
High speed profile gripper for a perfect positioning.
CUTTING UNIT:
Blade diameter of 500mm (550mm is possible)
Pneumatic blade feed, adjustable, pre-sets in 2 different speeds
No coolant system, but it easy to build it onto the machine
Scrap drops down from the blade on a belt, which transports it out of the machine
UNLOADING TABLE FOR PROFILES:
Unloading gripper takes the cut pieces and brings them to the unloading table.
Length of the table: 4.0 m
CONTROL UNIT:
Electrical cabinet with air conditioner
CNC-PC, OS Windows '95. (Upgrade is possible to Windows 2000)

Swarf exhauster Emmegi MG4
Label Printer to label each piece
REFURBISHMENT WORK CARRIED OUT:
Cleaning, Exchanging broken parts.
New blade,
New drive belt for the blade,
Bearings of the scrap,
Rollers on the unloading table,
Belts on the unloading table,
Cleaned the label printer,
Filter bag on the swarf exhauster,
Suction tubes on the swarf exhauster, length > 10 m
Some pneumatic parts and sealings,
Some switches
